Hello Turtle Families,

We are so excited for our first official swim meet of the 2018 season! Tomorrow we are competing away against the South Hampton Hurricanes! The meet begins at 8:00am. Please arrive no later than 7:00am and check in with Jessica Crafts as soon as you arrive. Warm ups are at 7:10am. If you are in the first 10 events it’s critical that you arrive on time. Please call or text Theresa Patch (201) 600-8467 and Jenn Hoffman (619) 865-8213 if you have a last-minute change, running late or cannot make the meet.

Heat Sheets, entry lists, and important parking information are attached. Please print your heat sheets and bring them with you so that you can follow along. With a black Sharpie you must write your swimmer's last name and event numbers on their left shoulder. It’s very important that you get this done before warm ups. For more information please refer to the” New Swim Family Guide" or ask a veteran swim family to assist you. All board members will be available for questions.

Check in your swimmers immediately upon arrival with Jessica crafts, she will be located in the grass area somewhere close to the clerk of course tent. If you are an alternate in a relay please do not leave without checking back in with Jessica before you leave. If you are a volunteer for either 1st or 2nd shift, please check in with Emma Cooksey at the same table. Volunteers, it’s very important to be on time. If you are a 2nd shift volunteer, you will start at approximately event 38. There will be an announcement to notify the switch.

Please remember to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and bug spray!!  It's very important that you keep track of the events and get your swimmer to the ready bench on time.

Attached are the concessions menu and parking map. They reserved the parking lot by the pool for our team, unfortunately it's not very big. The grassy area by the playground is where tents and team areas set up. No tents on the pool deck, and no spectators on the starters side of the pool. We have a lot of room on the opposite side and the turn end for spectating. The playground, basketball courts, tennis courts, and splash pad are all off limits during the meet. Please ask your swimmers to refrain from hanging out at the coaches table. Encourage your swimmers to check in with the coaches after their event to go over their time, then have them go back to their families. Remember to remind your swimmer to congratulate the simmers to their right and left before they get out of the pool.

Take exit #329 Ponte Vedra Beach / Green Cove Springs off I-95. Off the exit go west approximately 5 miles on CR 210. The main entrance to South Hampton will be on your left and the Amenities Center and pool will be your first right.
